The apartment is a modern penthouse in a historic palazzo in the heart of Menaggio, one of the premier towns on the Lake. Frankly, it’s probably one of the finest apartments you can rent on the lake, outfitted with a top end (Dada) kitchen, and the best Italian beds and furniture (Poliform/Ditre/Lema/Molteni&C/Novamobili) . It has a 4 bedroom & 3.5 bath configuration. The unit has 2 balconies and French window/doors throughout with great views overlooking the lake and surrounding Alps. Each bedroom can be configured with 2 singles or 1 combined king bed, other than the Main Master which has a king bed. The unit includes attached parking for a reasonably sized car and is just steps away from the town square. The building has a modest indoor/outdoor pool with a small garden, and a sauna and steam room. The elevator directly accesses the main floor of the unit through a private key. The ferry to Bellagio, Varenna and all other towns along the lake is a 5 minute walk (500 yards) away.

Lake Como is the premier lake in Italy. The views are stunning and the relaxed atmosphere truly epitomizes la dolce vita. You can relax in the square or at the beach club, rent a boat or hire a captained one and cruise the lake, wander around the small towns, tour historic villas and gardens, take cooking lessons, go wine tasting either at local establishments which serve wines from around Italy or take day trips to across northern Italy (Lombardy, Piedmonte, Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto) and shop everything from local artisans around the lake, to outlet malls and the highest end fashions in nearby Milan and Switzerland, to the best Italian furniture made in the areas around the lake. For the more adventurous, there is even rock climbing and rafting nearby.
