Nestled in the heart of the world-famous winemaking region of Chianti Classico, Palazzo Machiavelli is a magnificent 15th-century Villa built by the Machiavelli family and bearing the unmistakable hand of the Renaissance master himself, the one and only Michelangelo” Set amongst a quintessential Tuscan landscape of rolling vineyard-lined hills, Palazzo Machiavelli is ideally located just a short 25-minute drive from Florence making excursions to one of the world’s most famed cities quick and easy. The palazzo has been meticulously restored and offers a perfect blend between old-world style and contemporary modern-day luxury. Steeped in history and culture, yet offering five-star comfort, rooms are filled with artwork and furniture collected from around the world. Reminders of past splendor are found throughout the palazzo, from perfectly restored frescoed rooms to the awe-inspiring loggia where guests can take in views of Florence’s most famous landmark, the Duomo. 

The palazzo offers ten bedrooms and can accommodate up to 22 guests. Guests can enjoy numerous spaces including dining rooms, outdoor terraces or the exceptional wellness area that includes a heated pool, gym, sauna and steam bath.

Surrounded by immaculately kept gardens and abundant lawns, the property offers ample outdoor spaces to relax, cool off in one of the two outdoor pools, enjoy an evening cocktail, or for wine lovers, one of the estate’s own wines. 

All additional services can be arranged separately e.g. chef, waiter, butler, private chauffeur, wine tasting, additional staff, personal trainer, massage, shopping assistant, tours, hot air balloon etc. The additional services will need to be confirmed within 60 days of check-in.

Rate inclusions

• Villa Manager: 6 days a week; 8 hours a day.
• Daily Housekeeping: 4 hours a day 6 days a week.
• Concierge Service: 4 hours a day 6 days a week.
• Welcome drink and snack On arrival, including a selection of Italian pizza and focaccia bites, local cured meats, crackers and cheese platters, fresh seasonal fruit, little traditional pastries; prosecco and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Daily buffet breakfast
• Mid-week bedroom and bathroom linen change. For any additional linen change required there will be an extra cost of Euro 350 (for the changes of all the bedrooms and bathrooms)
• Utilities (pool heating excluded).
